American rapper Macklemore announces a series of concerts titled “Free Palestine.” All proceeds will be donated to six organizations that support Palestinians.
Up to $1 million will be taken from the tour’s profits. Macklemore will kick off the event in Dublin on October 26, before Paris and London.
The initiative comes after he was removed from the opening act of the “Loop Tour” for showing his support for the Palestinian cause. On stage, the American had called to “free Palestine.”
Macklemore says he cannot remain apolitical in 2026, in the face of genocide.
